Black Friday sales and Black Friday ads have been some of the most popular topics around this fall, so it’s obvious we’re all looking for the best deals on games and electronics this Black Friday — and probably all weekend, too. Cyber Monday? We’ve got you covered, but this article’s focused strictly on all the Black Friday sales and doorbuster deals. From Walmart’s Black Friday ad to Best Buy’s Black Friday sales, all the way to Kmart’s and Target’s Black Friday specials, we’ve scoured the Web to bring you the latest information on where you can get the best deals on electronics and games this weekend. If available, we’ve also found all the Black Friday doorbuster deals and shared those below. Electronics and games are expensive; you need to save as much money as possible so you can buy as many as possible, right?
The Black Friday sales below are as accurate and comprehensive as possible as of this writing. Quantities are always limited and offers are always subject to change. In fact, we wouldn’t be surprised to see Walmart or Sears spring a surprise doorbuster deal on Black Friday shoppers. But as of press time, treat this as your ultimate Black Friday cheat sheet for electronics and game sales — and plan your Black Friday shopping routes accordingly.
Walmart’s Black Friday Sales on Electronics and Games
Walmart is scheduled to start its Black Friday sales at midnight on Black Friday (the middle of the night on Thanksgiving), and some big sales are going down right off the bat. The biggest Black Friday discounts will hit “later” in the day, with the doorbuster bargains available from 5am to 11am. (or while supplies last) at all Walmart locations. Also, many of Walmart’s Black Friday sales will actually spill into the entire post-Thanksgiving weekend.
Among the specials at Walmart this Black Friday are a Magnavox Wi-Fi Blu-ray player for a measly $68, a 42-inch Emerson 1080p LCD HDTV for $398, a 42-inch LG 1080p LCD HDTV for $478, and an HP 15.6-inch 250GB laptop for $298. Walmart’s Black Friday doorbusters will include $7 and $8 videogames, Blu-ray Disc movies for $5 and $10, and more than 90 DVDs for $1.96. Seriously, that pricing is nuts, so you’d best get to Walmart early for those games and Blu-rays if those items are tops on your Black Friday shopping list. Other stores have Blu-ray sales this Black Friday (as you’ll see below), but none of their discounts are that deep.
Walmart’s other midnight specials include Zhu Zhu Pet toy hamsters for $4, $5 Barbie dolls and kids clothing for $4. One of the deals available at Walmart only on Saturday is a Sony 46-inch 1080p LCD HDTV for $698. That’s a screaming deal on any HDTV, but a 46-inch Sony HDTV at that price is unheard of.
Best Buy’s Black Friday Sales
Best Buy is pretty much the Mecca for home electronics and gadgets, so their Black Friday specials are geared more toward HDTVs and gadgets than games and movies. However, that’s not to say they don’t have any Black Friday deals on games or bundles. As with the Walmart roundup above, this Best Buy Black Friday list is pared-down to focus on games and home-theater-like electronics; Best Buy certainly has more Black Friday electronics specials than what’s listed here. Target is giving Black Friday shoppers a head start this year with savings on a variety of electronics, but their Wii, Xbox 360 and PS3 discounts are particularly sweet. This year marks the first year Sears will be open on Thanksgiving Day, but like Kmart, Sears is offering some pre-Thanksgiving Day deals and three separate days of doorbusters. Sears may be in somewhat of the same boat as Kmart when it comes to games and electronics, but it’s still worth knowing what’s cooking at the house that Craftsman built, because you’ll probably pass one of them this weekend.
