SEGA Bass Fishing Ships for Wii

SEGA today cast SEGA Bass Fishing into North American retailers. SEGA Bass Fishing is a Nintendo Wii exclusive.

SEGA Bass Fishing is the latest entry in the company’s storied fishing franchise, but for its appearance on the Wii, it’s got a new control system that uses the Wii Remote and Nunchuk. With more than 20 different types of lures to choose from, gamers can cast off using the Wii Remote to try to land one of four different types of freshwater bass. The, when they hook a fish, they can use the motion sensor to reel it in.

SEGA Bass Fishing lets gamers select the time of day and season in which they want to fish, both of which are choices that affect the activity of the fish, their appetite and their depth. Players can select these options in any of the four modes: Arcade, Tournament, Practice and Nature Trip.

SEGA Bass Fishing carries an MSRP of $29.95.
