Nintendo’s WiiWare application has a new racing game on the horizon, as SPGS Racing was unveiled today by D2C Games.
SPOGS Racing is an arcade-style racing game in which players try to beat the clock as well as their opponents — literally.
The game will include what D2C Games calls “Crash ‘N Grab gameplay,” which will let players smash into their opponents to steal upgraded parts on the fly.
The SPOGS Racers themselves can also be personalized, customized and modified with in-game images and vehicle parts, not just stolen pieces.
Specific details about the game’s release date and vehicle lineup are sparse, but D2C Games did share that SPOGS Racing will include head-to-head multiplayer, a variety of track types including stunt tracks with loops and jumps, multiple difficultly modes, multiple control schemes, power-ups and weapons.
