NASCAR Driver Brad Keselowski to Appear in Watch Dogs

Racing team owner and NASCAR driver Brad Keselowski will be featured as an in-game citizen roaming the streets of Chicago in Watch Dogs. Profile him fast!

Watch Dogs

When Watch Dogs races onto the Xbox One and PS4 this fall, it may have NASCAR driver Brad Keselowski to thank for it. Keselowski, one of only two NASCAR drivers to have won a championship in both the Sprint Cup Series and the Nationwide Series, will appear in Watch Dogs as a non-playable character.

A professional stock car driver and team owner, Keselowski will be featured as one of the many in-game citizens roaming the streets of Chicago. Players will be able to profile the NASCAR driver as they will with any other NPCs in the digital city. The biggest question may be whether that profile will turn up information about Keselowski’s exploits on the race track. Perhaps some outstanding speeding tickets?

Yes, Ubisoft can have a lot of fun with this one if they so choose.

Keselowski is one of several celebrities whose likenesses will appear in the game. Earlier this year, Ubisoft announced that actress and comedian Aisha Tyler will also greet players as a non-playable character. Will Keselowski and Tyler be the only celebs roaming the busy sidewalks of Watch Dogs? Not likely. They’re just the only two Ubisoft has announced so far. Surely Eminem can’t be far behind.

In addition to racing, Keselowski owns Keselowski Racing, which fields two full-time teams in the Camping World Truck Series. He currently races for Penske Racing in NASCAR, driving the No. 2 Ford Fusion in the Sprint Cup Series and the No. 22 Discount Tire Ford Mustang in the Nationwide Series. Now, how long until Ubisoft announces that players will be able to jack a NASCAR from the NPC’s garage?
