Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag

The Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag DLC continues to rush in like the tide, it seems. Today, Ubisoft released Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag “Freedom Cry,” a mini-campaign that features a four-hour self-contained story featuring Edward Kenway’s first mate, Adewale. Kenway is the primary game’s main hero.

In the Freedom Cry DLC, Adewale is forced to face his past and sets out to free slaves. Once a pirate but now a trained Assassin, Adewale is the sole playable character as gamers explore the game world 15 years after the events of Black Flag. Taking place in 18th-century Haiti, Adewale will take his new crew and new set of weapons, including a machete and a blunderbuss, to assassinate enemies and free slaves.

Adewale’s journey takes him to plantations and cities alike, as well as the ocean. When the fight goes to the seas, Adewale will command the Experto Crede, a fearsome brig that can take down the slavers in the Caribbean.

Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag Freedom Cry is now available for $9.99. The game is also included in the Season Pass, which means it can be downloaded at no additional cost for Season Pass owners.
