Ray Harryhausen was the master of sci-fi stop-motion films. His movies “The 7th Voyage of Sinbad,” “It Came from Beneath the Sea,” “Earth vs. The Flying Saucers” and “20 Million Miles to Earth” are among the most treasured old-school stop-motion movies around, and his Ymir monster is instantly recognizable by fans of retro science fiction. Sony Pictures Home Entertainment will soon release the latter three of those movies (It Came from Beneath the Sea, Earth vs. The Flying Saucers and 20 Million Miles to Earth) in a six-disc box set that includes both a restored black-and-white version of each film and a new 50th Anniversary colorized version. Not only that, but the set (MSRP $80.95) will also include an eight-inch figurine of the Ymir. Because we’ve got some old-school sci-fi buffs here at DailyGame, we’ve teamed with Sony Pictures to give away one of these massive box sets to one lucky reader.
