Walmart may have kicked-off its Cyber Monday sale with a deeply discounted Blu-ray home theater setup, but Amazon.com just took the Cyber Monday home-theater discounts to new heights (lows?) by offering a 5.1 surround-sound system for free.
Take that, Cyber Monday price wars.
Amazon’s deal comes with a string attached: it requires the purchase of a Bravia EX700 Series 60-Inch LED HDTV. However, the TV is also getting a discount at Amazon on Cyber Monday, so….
Amazon’s Cyber Monday surround-sound freebie is an HTS-S370 5.1 home theater system. To get it for free, you must also purchase at the same time a Sony Bravia KDL-60EX700 60-Inch LED HDTV. Simply add both the HDTV and home theater system to your cart and proceed to checkout; you will only be charged for the TV, not the home theater system.
