Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia – CitizenTree, a one man indie studio is proud to announce the upcoming release of it’s latest game, 2×2 Flip Free. The game will be released on Thursday, December 6th, 2012.

In the game, players are presented with colored blocks of red, green, blue and yellow. The goal is to flip those blocks to an ordered sequence of red, green, blue and yellow patch. Selection of the grid of blocks have to be at least 2 rows and 2 columns (henceforth, the title) although players can select larger areas. Players can solve the puzzle with as many flips as they want or they can try to flip with the predetermined number of flips which will earn them a medal.

There are also hints that can help them along the way. The game is free with 90 levels. Players can choose to purchase the additional 100 levels and additional hint packs. For fairness hints can be reused at the same stage in the same level without being deducted again.

The game is universal and available for both the iPad and iPhone with Game Center Achievements. The game has also been tested to run on 1st gen devices to ensure that there will be no performance issue that will impact playability.
