Tianjin, China – 8 BIT SPACE today is pleased to announce Ah!Cheetah 1.0.1 for iOS, its 3D vertical scroller, where players control the graceful cheetah as he chases and saves 20+ different animals who have fallen under a curse. Players use tilt control to move the running cheetah left and right to avoid obstacles, swipe upwards to leap over barriers and swipe downwards to crawl beneath them. Double tapping accelerates the cheetah to double speed for as long as the speed bar lasts. With 4 worlds and 32 levels, the running game is an extreme challenge of hand/eye coordination. The animated 3D animals, 2 and 4 legged, are highly realistic as they are pursued by the relentless cheetah.

Players pursue a wild beast, zebra, horse, ostrich, giraffe and more, all beautifully rendered in 3D. As they run, players can collect gold coins and acceleration capsules. Power-ups, available for purchase with coins earned during gameplay, include the following: Invisibility Shield (ignore barriers), Booster (increases the capacity of the double tap speed boost), Antidote (protects the cheetah from gas and venom), Magnet (attract coins and speed points while running), and Gems (coin exchange or item purchases).
There are four different environments, including grasslands, desert, nighttime in the swamp, and jungle. Elephants, antelope, and pythons may be crossing the path and players must respond quickly, or return to the start of the level. Waterfalls, swaying vegetation, and wild animals create a level of realism that is rare in running games.
