Moreno Valley, California – Bluff the Vote 1.0 for iOS is a turn-based election game where two players compete for the final battleground states. In Bluff the Vote, players raise funds and campaign to increase their popular votes and use them to bid on states. The winning bidder receives the electoral votes apportioned to each state in their quest to obtain the 270 needed to win the election. Bluff the Vote is a social game and game play requires that the player invite a friend or be matched on Apple’s Game Center.
“It’s simple to learn, but can never be mastered”, says James Mason, the creator of the game, “the opportunities for bluffing during the bidding process makes every game unique.”
Bluff the Vote recreates the final weeks of the election, when most voters have made up their mind and most states are firmly decided for the Democrat (Blue) or Republican (Red) candidate. The final decision is left to a small number of undecided voters in a handful of swing states. In Bluff the Vote, each candidate starts with 191 Electoral Votes and must campaign for the final swing states needed to win the election.
