Dietlikon, Switzerland – Demodit GmbH today is pleased to introduce Funny Socks 1.0 free for iOS, its memory game where the player turns over two cards per turn, trying to match the socks on the cards’ face. Also known as Concentration or Pairs, the game for kids challenges them to match something frequently paired in real life: socks. Funny Socks offers non-competitive, solitaire gameplay, and can be played by two players together on different iOS devices.

Arranged in a 4×5 grid, the cards are in random sequence presented with the card’s back. Touching the back of a card activates a leisurely horizontal flip, revealing the card’s face. The goal of the game is to next turn over the unique card that matches the first card.
There are a total of 18 different pairs of socks used in the game. Players must remember both the color scheme and the design to make correct matches. As gameplay continues, an increasing number of cards are exposed. The goal of the game is to find all pairs of socks as fast as possible or in as few moves as possible.
Funny Socks includes a High Score board. It has a ranking for each game mode (small, medium, large), which can be switched between “best time” or “best moves”. The player can also compare his best times with other players by the Game Center leaderboard.
