Planet Minesweeper takes the familiar minesweeper puzzle mechanic and wraps it around a spherical planet. It features cutting edge ES2 shaders and includes support for retina and HD iPad graphics, including an extra-large “Huge” planet size available exclusively on iPad. The game boasts a custom soundtrack from Hyperduck Soundworks, and Game Center leaderboards let players compare their best times with others. Packed with variety, Planet Minesweeper has three difficulty levels, from “normal” difficulty which offers a well balanced challenge to “insane” level, of which fewer than 0.1% of games result in victory. Planets span four gorgeous art styles and background themes.
A fresh update released this week brings tighter controls–including smooth planet rotation physics–and a newly redesigned “fast flag mode” to make flagging spaces simpler than ever.
