Lupus Puzzle Season is not just ordinary flipping of square tiles, as you find it in the hundreds on the App Store. Bostorm made a puzzle game that defines new standards. Three different puzzle game variants and custom image and picture support guarantees the best entertainment for young and old, novice and experienced.
Five color schemes and five background music schemes to choose among, so that you can always set the right mood for a given picture. Another highlight is receiving achievement badges, which can be posted to the players Facebook page. The game does not end after a couple of puzzles. Earning bonus features enables the player to advance even further. The game offers 15 built-in pictures of various kinds. Some are photos of beautiful landscape oil paintings, while others are animals and also abstract and computer graphics are included.
Jigsaw Puzzle:
The jigsaw puzzle variant was specifically designed to work on all iOS devices. Any image, picture or built-in graphic will be turned into a jigsaw puzzle within 5 seconds. Even when you request 400 tiles in retina display quality. Each jigsaw puzzle is different. Lupus always creates new puzzle pieces each time you start a new game. This includes any picture or photograph the player provides.
Ball Puzzle:
The ball puzzle variant demands balancing skills. Control a ball by tilting the device. Each puzzle piece has a little hole in the center. Maneuver the ball into a hole and then tilt the device in one direction. The puzzle pieces will then swap location with the piece in the direction of the tilting. Even though this may sound complicated, it is actually easy and straight-forward to learn. Bostorm had a 72 year old beta-tester solving a 64-pieces ball puzzle within 10 minutes on the iPad!
Square Puzzle:
The well known square piece puzzle is of course included. This is the variant, where you use your finger to swap the puzzle pieces.
