Once uploaded, this picture will allow you to create a Facebook event around the “moment”, tag those friends who are already with you and invite those friends who you would like to join your “moment”. For large events there could be thousands of people sharing a particular “moment”.
MyEvents247 is a powerful free promotional tool that companies can use to publicise their activities. By creating events through the application and inviting Facebook users, once the event is picked up by MyEvents247 it will be publicised to all users in the close proximity.
MyEvents247 utilizes complex sociological concepts. If a friend of a user is attending an event, the user is more likely to discuss, engage with and attend that event. By prioritising the events that have a user’s friend’s authentication and are of a close proximity there are two strong incentives for the user to attend.
