Fruit Ninja’s hot, and Prototype 2 has earned plenty of buzz, so why not combine the two? That’s what Activision has done, announcing today the release of Protoslice, a new Fruit Ninja-like app for iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch devices. The Protoslice app is completely free.
Fans curious to see just how sharp Sgt. James Heller’s Blade Arm really is will be able to check it out in this app that was created in collaboration with TwitchGames, the creators of Slice HD. Protoslice, billed as a “visceral scare puzzler,” has players use Sgt. James Heller’s deadly Blade Arm to work their way through a plethora of levels, each of which is more challenging than the last.
Protoslice is now available on the App Store for all iOS devices. Prototype 2, meanwhile, is slated to release on April 24, 2012, for Xbox 360, PS3 and Windows PC.
