Beijing, China – Gate9 Ltd today is pleased to introduce Space Craft 1.0 for iOS, their new space game application that engages players in a strategic warship battle. The player chooses a commander to defend or attack Earth and creates a personal armada to go up against enemy forces. With over 30 different ships to choose from, players then work to destroy enemy ships with their warships’ specialized weapons, unlocking more features as play goes on. The game features a dozen galaxies and over 100 planets in increasing levels.

Handy tutorial instructions are provided at the start of the game for players to follow. They then select a galaxy and planet where they will play. Different planets feature different levels of difficulty with varying rewards. Having selected the planet, players can choose the warships they want to fight with based on the weapons and sizes they think they can use to their advantage. A flashing yellow “Fight” option appears in the bottom right hand corner once players have chosen enough warships to play.
With their ships chosen, players can then arrange them on the grid strategically, the goal being to avoid places where enemy fire is most likely to be concentrated. As the game begins, players can tap the lit weapons available at each turn. Super weapons become available as the game goes on, but if the enemy destroys their warship, its weapons can no longer be used in the game.
Players use weapons with just one simple tap to the lit up picture, and spectacular 3D graphics display a resulting missile either flying through space or hitting its target, depending on the chosen attack’s success or failure. The game also features remarkably realistic sound effects to add to the gaming experience.
Space Craft becomes an intense battle as more ships are destroyed. The winner is the first to destroy all enemy warships on the grid. Players must exercise their tactical skills under pressure to plan out a strategy to locate and destroy the hidden enemy ships before their own are decimated in battle.
After each battle, a summary of the mission appears, explaining the turns taken, ships destroyed, gold reward, and earned rank from the battle. As the player’s rank increases, new levels for more challenging gameplay are available.
The player can also explore the game by viewing the archives, historical records, weapons, medals, and settings of the game with one tap in the menu. Here, players can change their avatar picture, view their fleet status, their bank, and more.
