Missile Commander 1.0.1 for iOS available

January 14, 2014 by Sara Leave a Comment

FOR neXtSoft today announced the release of Missile Commander 1.0.1, an update to their popular game title for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. This update corrects an issue some players experienced when attempting to upgrade cities or turrets, or attempting to rebuild them.

Missile Commander is a difficult, and addictive game where you protect six cities using your rockets. Missiles and Smart bombs rain down on you from above and from enemy aircraft. Missile Commander features three difficulties each with twenty three achievements and six leader boards, three for score and three for resource collection. As you protect your cities you build resources. You use these resources to replenish your defense rockets and to rebuild or upgrade cities and turrets.

Missile Commander has become a popular game, especially for fans of retro games. It will take you back in time, while offering new and exciting elements of game play. It is fast paced with little room for mistakes. The higher the difficulty, the more intense the action. Are you good enough to get all the achievements on the hardest difficulty?

Missile Commander features endless waves of increasing difficulty. Missile come faster, and in greater numbers as you progress, based on the difficulty you have chosen. As you complete each new wave the game is automatically saved so that if you get a call or need to leave the app you will not loose your progress up to that point.

Device Requirements:
* iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch
* Requires iOS 7.0 or later
* 61.0 MB

Pricing and Availability:
Missile Commander 1.0.1 is $1.99 USD (or equivalent amount in other currencies) and available worldwide exclusively through the App Store in the Games category. Missile Commander supports the four inch iPhone 5 screen as well as the iPhone 4s, and runs native on iPad.
