Universal has announced the latest movie in the Dragonheart franchise will fly into retail in just over one month. The Dragonheart 3 The Sorcerer’s Curse Blu-ray release date is now official: February 24. The film will release on Digital HD two weeks earlier, on Feb. 10.
Dragonheart 3: The Sorcerer’s Curse will once again feature the voice of Ben Kingsley as Drago the Dragon. In the movie, aspiring knight Gareth goes in search of a fallen comet rumored to contain gold and is shocked to instead find the dragon Drago. After Drago saves Gareth’s life, the two become intricately bonded and must work together to defeat an evil sorcerer and stop his reign of terror.
The Dragonheart 3 The Sorcerer’s Curse Blu-ray Combo Pack will include the Blu-ray version of the film, a DVD version, as well as a Digital HD with Ultraviolet version. As you’d expect, it will also include a slew of bonus features such as a behind-the-scenes featurette that takes fans deeper into the journey.
With that said, the behind-the-scenes featurette with Ben Kingsley is the only bonus feature on the disc. At least it has a cool name: “A Dragon’s Life.”
The movie, which runs 1:37, will be presented with DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 and include the following subtitle options: English SDH, Spanish and French.
