Age the Empires will make the jump from the PC this fall, as THQ today announced it is publishing Age of Empires: Mythologies for the Nintendo DS.
Age of Empires: Mythologies is being built on the Age of Empires: Age of Kings game engine and will feature three playable civilizations, each with an individual campaign: the Egyptians, Greeks and the Norse. In the game, players will lead their armies along with heroes and monsters, call down divine powers of the gods, and use what THQ is calling a new “active combat” system.
As an Age of Empires game, Mythologies will include multiplayer support, complete with customizable rules, a new skirmish mode and single-cartridge game sharing.
