While we’re all sitting at the table this Thanksgiving gorging on turkey, stuffing, potatoes and pie, Nintendo will be pressing retailers to launch two new 3DS bundles in time for the Black Friday shopping debacle. Both Nintendo 3DS bundles will be limited editions.
The first new Nintendo 3DS bundle includes Super Mario 3D Land (read our review here) and a Flame Red Nintendo 3DS system. The second bundle includes The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D and a special 25th anniversary limited-edition Cosmo Black Nintendo 3DS marked with the Hyrule emblem and gold-colored embellishments.
Each bundle will retail for $199.99 in the United States.
Nintendo did not clarify whether the bundles are “limited edition” in terms of their time available at retail or simply due to the quantities manufactured, but our bet’s on the quantity. Our second bet is that the Legend of Zelda 3DS sells out first; it just looks badass.
