Army of Two, EA’s third-person cooperative shooter, will soon get two new campaign maps and an enhanced versus map, all in the form of free downloadable content on PS3 and Xbox 360.
The two new co-op campaign maps and enhanced multiplayer map will be included in the “Veteran Map Pack,” which will be available May 29 in North America and Europe on both the Xbox Live Marketplace and the PlayStation Store.
The new maps will take players to two distinct locations. The first will take place underground in a Kiev subway station, where players must find and destroy the central hub of a dangerous militia. The second map goes back to SSC headquarters in Miami, where players finally get the chance to take out Dalton, Rios and Salem’s ex-boss, in a boss fight.
In addition to the maps themselves, the Veteran Map Pack will also feature interactive environments that include destructible objects that were not available in the retail version.
The enhanced multiplayer map, China Canal Lock, will support online multiplayer battles for two-on-two teams, as is the norm for Army of Two’s online modes.
