The next round of Arkham Origins DLC is on the way in just under a month. Warner Bros. Interactive has divulged that the Batman: Arkham Origins Cold, Cold Heart DLC will be available on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC on April 22.
Rather than a simple or minor addition, the Batman: Arkham Origins Cold, Cold Heart DLC will be an extensive story add-on. After downloading the content, players will unearth the tragic origin story of Mr. Freeze to learn how he earned his role as one of Batman’s arch nemeses.
The Batman: Arkham Origins Cold, Cold Heart DLC will be via PlayStation Network, Xbox Live and Steam for $9.99. The add-on pack will also be available for free to anyone who’s purchased the Batman: Arkham Origins Season Pass.
Unfolding across iconic Gotham City locations, including Wayne Manor, Cold, Cold Heart equips players with the powerful Batman Extreme Environment (XE) suit and new gadgets including the Thermal Gloves and Thermocharged Batarangs.
The Batman: Arkham Origins Cold, Cold Heart DLC introduces several hours of all-new content in which players will battle through punishing, icy landscapes to witness Mr. Freeze’s heart-pumping first encounter with the Dark Knight.
