Time flies in the gaming world. Whether you own a PS3 or Xbox 360, it’s hard to fathom that two years have passed since Call of Duty: Modern Warfare hit store shelves. But sure enough, it must’ve been two years, because Activision has announced that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is set to ship for both consoles on November 10, 2009.
Activision has a new COD game each year, with Treyarch and Infinity Ward alternating years. Amazing how we’ve all been playing Call of Duty: Modern Warfare this much for two years eh?
“Everyone on the team is laser focused on making the most gripping experience we’ve ever created,” said Infinity Ward CEO Vince Zampella in a statement. “No detail is too small and every finishing touch imaginable is underway to make Modern Warfare 2 our best ever.”
Coming from Infinity Ward, that statement is something to get excited about.
