We know fantasy football (and baseball, and basketball, and basketweaving) are huge, so it’s probably safe to say most DailyGamers have participated in at least one such season. When it comes time to pick your players, though, have you ever wanted to host a draft that feels like the real professional draft day? EA hopes so, and it hopes even more that you’ll use its new Fantasy Football Live Draft Tracker to re-create that feeling with your friends.
EA Sports’ Live Draft Tracker is a Web-based service that’s totally free to use — once you pay for the downloadable application via Xbox Live or the PlayStation Network. The Live Draft Tracker software is available on Xbox Live for 400 points ($5) and for 50 cents on Playstation Network. Clearly, EA favors the PS3’s setup or customers, eh?
Live Draft Tracker lets fantasy football players re-create all the fanfare and presentation of an authentic professional football draft via their console, complete with video clips from Madden NFL 09 and commentary from the EA Experts on the top players.
The drafted players and fantasy league can then be tracked via the EA Sports Fantasy Football site. EA Sports Fantasy Football includes customizable scoring, setup, Live Scoring and the ability to import your EA Sports Fantasy Football team into Madden NFL 09.
