Konami today announced the first details about the second Metal Gear Online expansion pack, called the MEME Expansion. Available for download later this year, the MEME Expansion will contain new content ranging from new maps and special characters to new skills and a tournament lobby.
The three new maps will be: Silo Sunset, one of the most popular stages Metal Gear Solid Portable Ops that’s been updated for Metal Gear Online; Forest Firefight, a dense jungle map taken from Metal Gear Solid 3; and Winter Warehouse, an original snow-blanketed factory stage created specifically for Metal Gear Online.
The two new characters will be Liquid Ocelot and Mei Ling. Additional rules and settings will also be included, which can be selected without purchasing the second expansion pack. Finally, the MEME Expansion will include Avatar Parts that let players adorn their avatar with new accessories.
Specific pricing and dates of availability have not yet been announced.
