Amazon has some great discounts on first-party PS3 games today, and not just on the Greatest Hits games for which you’d expect to see deals this time of year. These sales do include some PS3 Greatest Hits games, but also some recent PS3 releases that are sure to get your attention.

For instance, the God of War Collection, God of War 3, Heavy Rain and ModNation Racers can all be had today for 33% off. The original Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune is also there for a 33% discount, while the sequel, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, has a 30% discount. Or, if you’re interested in checking out what all the Gran Turismo 5 hubbub is about but don’t want to commit to the full, full-priced game, you can nab GT5 Prologue for 63% off.

These first-part game discounts and others are only available from Amazon today, so you’ll want to get in there soon. There doesn’t appear to be a “while supplies last” qualifier, but you never know how long their inventory will hold.
