Surprise! One of the biggest hits so far on the PS3 has a sequel on its way. Who would have thought that the little Sackboy and his stickers would make such a big impact on the gaming world. With over 2 million levels created by users like you, LBP was a smash hit that completely deserved a followup. But how does one make a sequel to a game that relies on the gaming community for longevity? They add new features like intelligent creatures and machines you can control via digital puppetry, and a method to link all of your created levels together to form a cohesive game within the game.
LittleBigPlanet2 will be compatible with all user created levels from the first iteration with a graphical boost, and also promises usability with the PlayStation Move controller. No release target for LBP2 has been announced yet.
