PlayStation 3 owners, prepare to get airborne. Electronic Arts today began shipping Medal of Honor Airborne for the PlayStation 3 in North America, announcing that it will be available in Europe on November 30.
PlayStation 3 gamers can now jump into the largest Allied Airborne Operations of WWII and become the hero who suppresses the Axis powers throughout Europe. Using an innovative approach to first-person shooter gaming, every level starts with the player airdropping into combat from a C-47 airplane, directing their parachute and drop and thereby choosing where they land on the battlefield.
The first step (jump?) is everything, and the player’s landing spot can change the course of battle. Conflict on the ground offers strategic choice in vertical, open battle spaces with a wealth of attack routes and flanking opportunities.
Developed at EA Los Angeles, Medal of Honor Airborne is rated T for Teen by the ESRB, 16+ by PEGI, and 18+ by USK. The game has a U.S. MSRP of $59.99. Medal of Honor Airborne is also available in stores now for the PC and Xbox 360.
