New Fallout 3 Screenshots for Xbox 360 and PS3

July 27, 2008 by Sara Leave a Comment

Bethesda Softworks is responsible for creating the masterpiece that is The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, but the real rabbit the company hopes to pull from its hat is delivering an even more compelling experience with Fallout 3.

In our hands-on time with Fallout 3 during E3 2008, we got the distinct impression that Bethesda’s well on its way to achieving that goal. However, one element that stood out in particular was just how much Bethesda has improved the Oblivion game engine, which is the core/basis for Fallout 3 as well.

As you can see from the Fallout 3 screenshots below, the game is shaping up rather nicely in the graphics department on both the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. We’ll have much more information about Fallout 3 in the days and weeks ahead, but for the time being, set your sights on these all-new screenshots straight from E3. You can click on any of them to see it in high resolution.
