When Killzone 2 made its E3 debut several years ago in the form of a teaser trailer, Sony and Guerilla Games endured some serious backlash for claiming the CGI video was actually in-game footage. Fast-forward to E3 2008, and SCEA showed Killzone 2 in all its pre-Alpha glory — and “glory” is indeed the right word for it.
Killzone 2 was easily the best-looking game we saw at E3, and to prove it, we wanted to share with you some in-game — yes, in game — screenshots of Killzone 2 directly from the E3 floor. And for the record: yes, Killzone 2 looks this good in motion. The screens below are mostly taken from the single-player campaign, although the bottom six are taken from the multiplayer build.
