With Tom Clancy’s EndWar now in stores and hot new multiplayer games such as Resistance 2 out on the market, Sony has allowed online retailer Amazon.com to reduce the price of the official Playstation 3 Bluetooth Headset
to $39.99.

Normally, the PS3 Bluetooth headset retails for $49.99.
Although this may not be the PS3 price cut consumers were hoping for, it’s definitely a sign that Sony believes Resistance 2 owners will want to yell and scream online. It also may be a sign that SOCOM wasn’t exactly moving these headsets off the shelf as expected (the headset launched in a bundle with SOCOM).
