Rock Band 2 may be shredding into stores, but because it’s compatible with Rock Band 1 content, Harmonix and MTV Games have today uploaded Megadeth’s album “Peace Sells…But Who’s Buying?” to the Rock Band Music Store.
The Megedeth album is just the fourth album to appear as downloadable content for Rock Band on the PS3 and Xbox 360.
One of the most influential heavy metal albums of its time, “Peace Sells…But Who’s Buying?” will be available starting Sept. 16 (tomorrow) on both the Xbxo Marketplace and PlayStation Store. It will cost $10.99 on PS3 (880 Microsoft Points on Xbox 360) for the album, or $1.99 (160 Microsoft Points) per track.
Megadeth’s 1986 classic “Peace Sells…But Who’s Buying?” has sold more than one million copies nationwide, with the title track included on the Rock Band 2 disc. The DLC album includes the following tracks:
- Wake Up Dead
- The Conjuring
- Devil’s Island
- Good Mourning / Black Friday
- Bad Omen
- I Ain’t Superstitious
- My Last Words
With the addition of the new Megadeth album, there are now more than 300 tracks available to date via disc and download purchase for Rock Band.
