Ubisoft today confirmed that Far Cry 2 will ship on October 21 for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC. If you plan to pre-order the game, Ubisoft also announced an exclusive pre-order partnership with GameStop that will earn pre-order customers a Limited Edition version of Far Cry 2.
The exclusive Limited-Edition version of Far Cry 2 will be the same price as the normal edition, but it will only be available at GameStop. Here’s what it includes:
- Six Bonus Missions, comprising about three bonus hours of gameplay
- A fold-out map of the open world of Far Cry 2
- Exclusive game packaging
Ubisoft did not clarify whether the six bonus missiosn would be available at a later date as downloadable content, but a wise gamer would place his or her money on “yes, they will.”
