X-Men Arcade is available today for both Xbox 360 and PS3. Backbone Entertainment developed this game with Konami Digital Entertainment and Marvel Entertainment. This is the first time X-Men Arcade has been available for the home gamer and contains all the X-Men favorites.
Up to six people can play multiplayer online or locally via PS3. The Xbox 360 can hold four players locally or six players online. Statistics and scores are tracked with high-definition displays, menus and leaderboards. There is also a Japanese version of the game with power-ups and energy drops and if you need a cerebral challenge, it has Japanese subtitles at the bottom of the screen.
If you really get into this game, you can use the Custom Match Mode so that you can set the number of players and the difficulty. You can also determine which level you want to begin on. Create Match Mode determines the player as host and give them the power to veto power over the game.
X-Men Arcade is now available on Xbox LIVE Arcade for 800 MSPTS and on the PlayStation Network for $9.99.
