Konami and Solid Snake have invaded the PlayStation Vita in a big way, as the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection is now available for Sony’s PS Vita handheld system. The classic Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty and Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater titles feature vast upgrades, including remastered graphics from the original PS2 release and optimized controls designed for the Vita’s touchscreen.
In addition to the visual upgrades, both titles include Transfarring, where players can start the action right where they left off as they transfer saved-data back and forth from their PS3 version of Metal Gear Solid HD Collection to their PS Vita system. Yes, that means you have to own both versions.
