PS Vita Owners Can Get Touchy Feely Today with Touch My Katamari

PS Vita thumbnailThe third-party games just keep on coming today for the launch of the PS Vita, with the aptly named “Touch My Katamari” now available for Sony’s new handheld. The PS Vita-exclusive game relies heavily upon its touch-sensitive functions — both on the front and back of the device.

You can click the following link to order Touch My Katamari from Amazon.

In Touch My Katamari, players use both the rear touch pad and front touchscreen to stretch and squeeze their katamari ball through crazy missions while building up a wacky wardrobe for the King of All Cosmos himself. Not content to be “only as cool as a school principal,” the King has tasked his son, the tireless Prince, with rolling up an ever more enormous ball of weird and wonderful junk in order to win back the fans who’ve forgotten the glory of the cosmos.

Touch My Katamari will also be showering fans with pure katamari joy, with a demo containing a tutorial and one mission scheduled to be available on PlayStation Network, plus a cosmic explosion of additional downloadable content scheduled to keep players rolling for a long time to come. In-game releases are slated for the months ahead, with DLC comprised of several weird and wonderful missions that players can unlock with “Fan Damacys” that are either earned in-game, or can be purchased via PSN to expedite the player’s ability to roll through these additional levels.
