Cake Mania: In The Mix! Ships for Nintendo Wii

November 24, 2008 by Sara Leave a Comment

As if Nintendo Wii owners weren’t already thinking enough about food this week, what with Thanksgiving and all, Majesco is releasing another cooking game upon the Nintendo-owning masses in hopes that we we’ll want to cook something that has no real-world calories.

Called Cake Mania: In The Mix!, the new Wii game is based on a PC franchise that has been downloaded more than 100 million times worldwide and sold half a million units on Nintendo DS. For its Wii debut, however, Cake Mania: In The Mix! introduces all-new characters, motion-based cake customization and a unique co-op mode that allows up to four players to join in the baking madness at once.

Cake Mania: In the Mix! lets players use the Wii Remote to manage all aspects of Jill Evans’ bakery business. Players will serve a myriad of all-new demanding customers-including ninjas, pregnant moms and leprechauns-and can then use cumulative bakery earnings to purchase more than 50 unique kitchen upgrades to expand their business. Cake Mania In the Mix! also features nine brand new locations, an Endless Baking mode and 4-player cooperative play. Players can even design custom cakes and then send Digital Greeting Cards of their cake creations to friends online via WiiConnect24.

If you’d like to snag this new Wii game for the would-be baker in your family, you can buy it from Amazon using the following link: Cake Mania: In the Mix!.
