Castlevania Composer Kinuyo Yamashita to Perform at Video Games Live

December 28, 2010 by Sara Leave a Comment

The original Castlevania and Mega Man X composer Kinuyo Yamashita will be performing her original music from the Castlevania series at Video Games Live to help game-music aficionados prepare to ring in the new year. The legendary Japanese composer will lead the New Jersey Symphony this Wednesday (Dec. 29) and Thursday (Dec. 30) at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center.

Seating for both shows is available here. Tickets start at just $21.

The show will be starting at 7:30pm on both nights but doors will be open 2 hours early for game competitions, costume contests, prize give-a-ways and classic arcade gaming. Aside from performing in both shows, Yamashita-san will also be taking part in a post-show meet-and-greet that’s open to all ticket holders.

Also performing for the first time with Video Games Live is Brentalfloss, an artist who’s probably best known for his hilarious game music lyric parodies on YouTube.
