A new Disney game featuring characters and locations from a variety of Disney and Disney*Pixar films is headed for the Xbox 360, PS3 and Wii this fall. Called Disney Universe, the game will be a fast-paced multiplayer action-adventure that puts players in a mix-up of worlds inspired by both animated and live action films.
In Disney Universe, players will suit-up as iconic Disney and Disney*Pixar characters and embark on adventures to power up their hero, battle powerful adversaries and master puzzles to save the universe. Each game world will allow players to experience objectives and missions that follow the respective movie’s storylines, but Disney Universe will also support multiplayer for up to four total friends.
The game will let players select from more than 40 classic and contemporary Disney character costumes, including Alice (from Alice in Wonderland), Mike (from Monsters, Inc.), TRON (from TRON: Legacy) and Stitch (from Lilo & Stitch) to explore six different worlds inspired by legendary Disney films. Players will select a character-based costume, with each costume offering a specific tool that changes and grows in power as players adventure through the game.
Disney Universe will include an expanding universe post-launch with DLC items including additional worlds and costumes.
