Activision today announced that Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock will officially hit retail stores this Sunday, October 28. The weekend launch is unusual in the gaming world, but with midnight launches planned nationwide, it’s probably not going to pose any problems.
Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock includes new features such as a multiplayer battle mode, boss battles, exclusive unlockable content and expanded online multiplayer modes that allow fans worldwide to compete head-to-head for true legendary rock status. Downloadable content will also be offered on multiple platforms.
