Born This Way, the second studio album from pop superstar Lady Gaga, hits shelves May 23, and fans can get the first single from the album, also titled “Born This Way,” for Rock Band 3 on the same day.
“Born This Way” will be available as part of a three-pack of songs from Lady Gaga and two hits from Foreigner that will all be in the Rock Band 3 Music Store starting May 23. The songs will be accessible for owners of all three consoles (Xbox 360, PS3 and Wii).
“Born This Way” will be part of the DLC called Lady Gaga Pack 02, which will also feature “LoveGame” and “Paparazzi” from the singer’s first studio album, The Fame. The Foreigner songs will be “Hot Blooded” and “Urgent.”
These tracks will be available in Europe on PlayStation 3 on May 25.
Harmonix will also be releasing Pro Guitar and Pro Bass upgrades next week for two back-catalog songs: “Rooster” from Alice in Chains and “Dead Leaves and the Dirty Ground” from The White Stripes. Fans who have already downloaded those songs will be able to purchase a simple upgrade that will allow them to play Pro Guitar and Pro Bass on those songs in Rock Band 3.
As always, songs available as downloadable content for Rock Band 3 feature five-button guitar and bass parts, drums, Pro Drums, and keys, Pro Keys and harmonies, where applicable. Some songs also feature Pro Guitar and Pro Bass upgrades available for an additional $0.99 upgrade download.
