Sega is bringing back the Dreamcast classic Samba De Amigo, which helped to create the now-popular rhythm music genre, and it’s doing so exclusively on the Nintendo Wii. The game, developed by Gearbox Software (yes, the Brothers in Arms guys), will release in spring 20008.
Samba De Amigo for the Nintendo Wii is a vibrant game that lets players shake to the beats of a samba-infused soundtrack comprised of popular new songs as well as fan-favorites from the original game. Playing as the grinning, sombrero-wearing monkey named Amigo, players shake the Wii Remote and Nunchuk like maracas in rhythm with the visual beats of the music.
Sega didn’t announce any more details about the game, but the company promised that a full song list and new features would be revealed in the next few months.
