SEGA Bringing Crack Down and ESWAT to Wii Virtual Console

September 11, 2007 by Sara Leave a Comment

SEGA this morning announced it will bring two new games to the Wii Virtual Console: Crack Down and ESWAT: City Under Siege. Crack Down, it should be noted, is not the same as Crackdown, the Xbox 360-exclusive open-world cop game. The company also wants you to know that Sonic the Hedgehog 3 is currently available on the Wii Shop Channel.
In Crack Down, a one- or two-player adventure, players must infiltrate and destroy different enemy facilities using a series of carefully placed time bombs. The goal is to save the world from a group of evil cyborgs created by a crazy scientist with plans for global domination (of course). By fighting through his various labs and bases, players must overcome the cyborgs with their cannon, bombs and machine guns.
In ESWAT: City Under Siege, players must rid the city of Liberty from its criminals and other lowlife scum. As a member of the Cyber Police force, players’ body is part mechanical, so they have a variety of weapons and armor at their disposal.
