The movie/game tie-ins continue today with the announcement of The Spiderwick Chronicles videogame, which is scheduled to release alongside the 2008 theatrical release of the same name by Paramount Pictures and Nickelodeon Films.
The game, which will recreate the fantastical world of the Spiderwick film and best-selling book series, will be available in February 2008 for the Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii, Nintendo DS, PS2 and PC.
In the game, players will be able to take control over multiple playable characters, each of whom will have unique abilities. You can bet that the list of playable characters will include twin brothers Jared and Simon, along with their sister Mallory Grace.
