THQ Ships Big Beach Sports for Nintendo Wii

June 23, 2008 by Sara Leave a Comment

As summer break swings into high gear, THQ today began shipping Big Beach Sports for the Nintendo Wii. Big Beach Sports features a half-dozen sand-friendly games for up to four players.

Big Beach Sports lets players compete in volleyball, soccer, football, bocce ball, disc golf (better known as Frisbee golf) and cricket. The game has a single-player tournament structure and lets players use real-life sport motions via the Wii Remote to control their on-screen character.

For players who also own a Nintendo DS, Big Beach Sports lets gamers export their in-game avatar for enhanced customization and then import it back into the Wii game.

Big Beach Sports has a budget-friendly price of $29.99. Click here to buy Big Beach Sports from Amazon.com.
