December 19, 2007 by Sara Leave a Comment

AMD today released a new AMD Phenom 9600 Black Edition quad-core processor with clock multiplier control and tunable performance. Priced the same as the recently launched AMD Phenom 9600 quad-core processor, this new Black Edition quad-core processor provides increased value and expanded customization options.

The newest Black Edition processor enables customizable platform performance with AMD OverDrive software. With the AMD Phenom 9600 Black Edition quad-core processor, gamers and sophisticated power users have slightly improved scalability and more customizable performance levels to run multiple processor-intensive applications simultaneously.

Coinciding with the AMD Phenom 9600 Black Edition’s launch, AMD also debuted today the AMD Game Wiki, a space for gamers to share tips and tricks, post videos, show off their gaming systems, and ask and answer questions.
