The Lord of the Rings: War in the North is set in Northern reaches of Middle-earth, where survival depends on fellowship. There will be online, interdependent co-op play for up to three players. Game players can join together to combat enemies and develop and/or upgrade weapons, skills and abilities. The team of three is a necessity in The Lord of the Rings: War in the North.
The Lord of the Rings: War in the North is slated to launch on the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Games for Windows in 2011.
