Gamers who pre-order Shift 2 Unleashed Limited Edition will receive access to three exclusive cars including; the Nissan Silvia spec R Aero (S15) the Alfa Romeo Giulietta QV, and the Lamborghini Murcielago LP640. Also included in the bonus is 40 new career events. Shift 2 Unleashed will be launching in Spring 2011 with Autolog technology that was used in Need for Speed Hot Pursuit. Players can compete with friends in head-to-head races and compare stats.
The events are for Single-Type race events of which there are 40. They include Old vs. New Challenge where classic cars compete against their modern version, competition between the same make of cars, and Manufacturer Showdown events that put iconic cars rivalries against each other to prove which car is best. Some of the other new features of Shift 2 Unleashed are an all-new rendering engine and graphics overhaul, innovative helmet camera, night racing and degradation of tracks and cars.
