Blizzard is known for capturing the minds of millions of gamers, but if that has spread to your lips, you should carefully consider acting on today’s announcement that Blizzard’s soundtracks are now on iTunes. The decision to buy the songs could very well save your vocal chords.
Blizzard Entertainment today released a bunch of songs on iTunes, much of which was previously available only in collector’s editions of the games or at special events like BlizzCon. Six Blizzard soundtracks are currently available:
- StarCraft Original Soundtrack
- Diablo II Original Soundtrack
- Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos Original Soundtrack
- World of Warcraft Original Soundtrack
- World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade Original Soundtrack
- World of Warcraft: Taverns of Azeroth Original Soundtrack
The albums have been placed on a new Blizzard Entertainment hub page in the iTunes store. This page also hosts content such as the BlizzCast podcast and trailers and gameplay footage from upcoming Blizzard games.
In addition, the Diablo III Overture from Diablo III is available as a single. It will be free to download until Tuesday (Sept. 9).
