This Wednesday’s Xbox Live Arcade update will include two very different games: an action-packed dungeon crawler in Arkadian Warriors, and a cross-genre game called GripShift. Full game descriptions are below.
Arkadian Warriors, which will be available worldwide for 800 Microsoft Points, features Tthree heroic shape-shifting warriors who fight to release the Land of Arkadia from the evil Gorgon’s stony gaze. Randomly generated dungeons and a cooperative multiplayer mode hack-and-slash action enhance the game’s single-player campaign. And yes, the multiplayer mode is available both online and via same-console play. Players can also upgrade their skills, acquire loot and master powerful magic spells and numerous deadly weapons.
GripShift, which will also be available for 800 Microsoft Points, includes a mix of sky-high platforming, stunt driving and puzzle-solving across 120 levels, 25 race tracks and 20 deadly deathmatch arenas. Oh yeah, and it all takes place on four differently themed worlds. Players can zoom to victory with four players over Xbox Live or race solo, all while taking advantage of a customizable soundtrack.
